Have you seen the darkness in her eyes
The sadness, weakness and fear shes trying to hide
Have you ever seen her true colours
The ones hidden behind dark clothes
Have you ever asked how she feels
And gotten an answer that was not concealed
Have you ever felt the same as her
And told her that you care
Did you see how she looked down
As if she tried to disappear into the ground
Have you ever seen her smile and laugh
And finally send out some warmth
Did you see her yesterday
Out there in the crowd
Have you noticed how she desperately tries to hide
To blend in but still stand out
Did you ever see anyone talk to her
Or did they ignore her and walk by
Did you notice the scars on her arms
The ones shes desperately trying to hide...?

"Have you ever asked how she feels

Those would have to be my favourite lines in the whole piece...
May I have your permission to quote them in something that I write sometime soon? (I know that sounds vague, but thats because I don't know yet what I am going to write or when)

Do you believe that what you see is real...or do you know that reality is but a daily illusion?
You have my permission to use them as long as you send me a link to whatever you are going to write
And perhaps if you post a link to my poem...
Thankies
